Raipur (thestates.news) |Nearly 12 lakh 88 thousand 241 standard bags of Tendu leaves (Tendupatta) have been collected in Chhattisgarh during the current 2023 collection year, which is nearly 77 percent of the total target set for the state. The goal is to collect 16.72 lakh standard bags of tendu leaves by the end of this year. Of these, the total amount to be given to Tendupatta collectors is more than Rs 515 crore and it has been collected by about 11 lakh tendupatta collectors. The collection work is being carried out continuously under the guidance of the Forest Minister, Shri Mohammad Akbar.
