The Chief Minister today inaugurated “Jhumka Island” situated in the middle of Jhumka Reservoir. Seeing this picturesque island surrounded by water all around, it will not be an exaggeration to say that the tourists will be blown away by the enticing beauty that Jhumka Island has to offer. The Collector informed the Chief Minister that earlier this island was in a desolate condition, with hard work and dedication, the development of this spot has been completed within one and a half months work that has shaped it’s beautiful and naturally soothing appearance. The Chief Minister praised the beautification work of Jhumka Island, he also gave a tourism tip to the administration, he asked to build cottages on the banks of the reservoir,so that tourists can avail the facility of leisure-stay surrounded by the beautiful vast water body .
