“Farming is the foundation of culture and identity; innovation and technology are driving a new agricultural transformation”: Chief Minister
Raipur, (thestates.news) | The state government is continuously working to make agriculture more profitable, sustainable, and dignified through modern technology, innovation, and farmer-friendly policies. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai made these remarks while interacting with farmers from various districts during the ‘Mukhya Mantri Kisan Samvad’ programme held in Raipur on Wednesday.
Sharing his personal experiences, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that he comes from a farming family and understands the needs, challenges, and aspirations of farmers firsthand. He noted that while agriculture was once heavily dependent on rainfall and lacked modern facilities, the adoption of machinery, scientific methods, and advanced technology has significantly improved productivity and created new opportunities for farmers.
