Mahtari Vandan Yojana Empowers Women Through Financial Support
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chhattisgarh Government’s Mahtari Vandan Yojana has not only extended economic support to the women of the state but has also boosted their self-esteem and confidence. Through this scheme, women are able to meet their household needs while also fulfilling their children’s educational and health-related requirements. The transfer of funds under Mahtari Vandan Yojana at hands of President Mrs. Droupadi Murmu, during her visit to Chhattisgarh ahead of Diwali, was a proud moment for the women of the state. This transfer marked the release of the scheme’s ninth installment to beneficiaries’ accounts. Nearly 1,39,177 women in Kondagaon district received financial aid under the scheme before Diwali festival. This gesture has not only offered financial cushion but has also assured women that the government recognizes their struggles and is committed to empowering them.
