Maharashtra Governor inaugurates International Theatre Festival of India

Mumbai  (Thestates.news)| Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the inauguration ceremony of the 25th Bharat Rang Mahotsav ‘Bharangam’ – the International Theatre Festival of India, organized by the National School of Drama at NCPA Mumbai. 
Chairman of National School of Drama and senior actor Paresh Rawal, Brand Ambassador of ‘Bharangam’ festival Pankaj Tripathi, senior actor Raghubir Yadav, Director of National School of Drama Chittaranjan Tripathi, eminent personalities from theatre, critics and alumni of NSD were present.  The Festival began with the group rendition of the ‘Bharangam’ Festival song penned by lyricist Swanand Kirkire. The 22 day long ‘Bharangam’ festival to be held in 15 cities will showcase 150 plays.
