Rahul Gandhi calls exit polls as ‘Modi poll’; says INDIA bloc will win 295 seats

New Delhi (|Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday called the exit polls, telecast by news channels on Saturday, predicting the NDA sweeping the election as a “Modi poll” and expressing confidence that the India bloc will win 295 seats. When asked about his reaction to the exit polls, Gandhi said, “This is the Modi poll. This is not an exit poll, brother, but a Modi-media poll. This is Modiji’s poll. This is a fantasy poll.”

When asked as to how many seats the INDI alliance will get, Gandhi said, “Have you heard the song of Sidhu Moose Wala’s ‘295’?” It may be mentioned that yesterday, while briefing the media after the INDI alliance meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the coalition was winning more than 295 seats and that the confidence was due to the huge public support the alliance received during the election.
